What to Expect
Whether you're coming in for a skin check, a new concern, or a cosmetic consultation, here's what a typical first visit looks like at Dermatology of Seattle.
- Arrive 10–15 Minutes EarlyNew patients complete intake paperwork at check-in. Having your insurance card and a list of current medications saves time.
- Meet Your ProviderYou'll be seen by one of our board-certified physicians or certified PAs, depending on your appointment type.
- Examination & DiscussionYour provider will examine the area of concern, ask about your history, and explain their findings in plain language.
- Treatment PlanYou'll leave with a clear plan — prescription, procedure, or follow-up — and written instructions when applicable.
What to Bring
- Insurance card and photo ID
- List of current medications and dosages
- Prior dermatology records or biopsy reports, if applicable
- List of known drug allergies
- Any photos of a skin concern that comes and goes
