Welcome to Our New Website

By Dermatology of Seattle · June 2026 · 5 min read

If you're reading this, you're already looking at it: dermatologyseattle.com has a brand-new home. After more than a month of planning, design, and behind-the-scenes development, we're excited to welcome patients to a website that's faster, easier to use, and built around what our community actually needs — whether that's finding a provider, requesting an appointment, paying a bill, or simply learning more about a skin condition at 11 p.m. on a Tuesday.

Why We Rebuilt the Site From the Ground Up

Our previous website had served the practice well for years, but it was starting to show its age. Pages loaded slowly, especially on phones. The menu structure had grown cluttered as we added new services and locations over time. And it simply wasn't designed for the way most patients actually find us today — through a quick search on a mobile device, often while sitting in a waiting room or scrolling during a lunch break.

Rather than patch over those problems, we made the decision to start fresh. Over the past several weeks, our team mapped out every page on the old site, rewrote and reorganized content, redesigned the visual experience, and rebuilt everything on a modern, lightweight platform. The result loads dramatically faster, looks great on any device, and — most importantly — makes it easier for patients to get to the information or appointment they're looking for in fewer clicks.

A Cleaner, Faster, Mobile-Friendly Design

The most noticeable change is simply how the site feels. Navigation has been reorganized into clear, logical groups — Patients, Services, Our Clinic — so you're never more than a couple of taps away from what you need. Pages now load nearly instantly, even on a cellular connection, and every page has been redesigned to work just as well on a phone as it does on a desktop computer.

We've also refreshed the look and feel throughout, with a consistent design across all 58 pages of the site — from our service pages and provider profiles to our two location pages for Burien and Bellevue. Whether you're researching a treatment, checking our hours, or looking up a provider's credentials, the experience should now feel calm, clear, and consistent everywhere you go.

New: The Site Now Speaks Your Language

One of the features we're most proud of is brand new: a language selector available on every page of the site. Look for the globe icon in the top navigation, and you can instantly translate the entire site into Spanish, French, Arabic, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Tagalog, Russian, Japanese, or Hebrew — in addition to English.

Seattle and Bellevue are home to wonderfully diverse communities, and not everyone who needs dermatologic care — or who is helping a family member find care — is most comfortable reading in English. This feature is a small but meaningful step toward making our practice more accessible to everyone in the neighborhoods we serve. Just pick your preferred language from the dropdown, and the whole page updates immediately.

Scheduling and Bill Pay, Simplified

Getting an appointment on the books should be the easiest part of your visit, so we rebuilt our scheduling experience around the two most common needs. If you're looking for a medical dermatology appointment, our Schedule page connects you directly with our secure patient messaging system. If you're interested in a cosmetic or medspa service — like Hydraneedling, CoolSculpting, or injectables — there's now a dedicated request form where you can select the services and location you're interested in and hear back from our team quickly.

We've also made it easier to manage the administrative side of your care. The new Patient Billing section brings together everything you need in one place — how to pay a bill, insurance information, financing options through CareCredit, and answers to the billing questions we hear most often.

A New Home for Patient Education

This blog post is itself part of something new: a dedicated blog and resources section where our providers will regularly share articles on skin health, new treatments, and practice updates. We've already published pieces on topics ranging from skin cancer risk in our notoriously cloudy climate to the latest research connecting acne and gut health — and we'll be adding new articles regularly.

Our goal is for the site to be a resource you'll actually want to come back to, not just a digital business card. If there's a topic you'd like to see us cover, let us know — we're building this section with our patients in mind.

More Improvements Are on the Way

Launching the new site is a milestone, not a finish line. In the coming months, we're planning to roll out an expanded library of skin condition guides covering everything from A to Z, continue adding to our blog, and keep refining the site based on feedback from patients like you. If you run into something that doesn't work the way you expect, or there's something you wish the site did, we genuinely want to hear about it.

Thank You

Building a new website while continuing to care for patients every day takes a lot of coordination, and we're grateful to everyone on our team who helped get this across the finish line. We hope the new dermatologyseattle.com makes it just a little bit easier to find what you need — and we'd love for you to take a look around. Have questions, feedback, or just want to say hello? Contact us any time.

Questions or Feedback? We'd Love to Hear From You

Whether you're exploring the new site for the first time or scheduling your next visit, our team at both the Burien and Bellevue offices is here to help.
