Actinic Keratosis Study

We're enrolling adults with sun-damaged skin lesions (Actinic Keratosis) on the arms for a research study evaluating an investigational topical medication combined with light therapy.

Who Can Participate

Eligibility

  • Adults Ages 18–85
    Men and women, inclusive of the full age range.
  • Actinic Keratosis on the Arms
    At least 4 AK lesions on either your left or right arm.
  • Generally Good Health
    No major medical conditions that would be exclusionary for the study.

What's Involved

  • 6-Month Study
    11 visits to our research clinic over the course of the study.
  • Topical Medication + Light Therapy
    An investigational topical medication paired with photodynamic light therapy.
  • Study Procedures
    Physical exams, vital signs, bloodwork, questionnaires, and assessments by the study doctor.
  • No Cost to You
    All study visits and study medication are provided at no cost — no insurance necessary.

    Your information is kept confidential and is not shared without your permission, except as required by law.

Have you used any over-the-counter, prescribed, or device treatments for your Actinic Keratosis in the past 6 months? *

Do you currently have any skin diseases (e.g. psoriasis, eczema, or rash) on your arms? *

Females only: Are you pregnant, lactating, or planning to become pregnant during the study? *

Do you have any major medical conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, hepatitis, or HIV? *

No insurance necessary. This study requires in-person visits at our Seattle, WA clinic.
