What is Nitronox?
Nitronox is a safe and effective inhaled system that provides medical nitrous oxide and oxygen through a small mouthpiece. Its demand flow technology only delivers the gas mixture when you inhale, and it is one option we offer at Dermatology of Seattle to help make you more comfortable and relaxed during certain procedures.
Nitrous oxide, sometimes called “laughing gas,” is not intended to put you to sleep. You will be able to hear and respond to any requests or directions we may have. You breathe normally through your mouth, and within a few short minutes, you should start to feel the effects of the nitrous oxide. You may feel light-headed or a tingling in your arms and legs. Some people say their arms and legs feel heavy. Ultimately, you should feel calm and comfortable. Nitrous oxide is fast-acting, with onset following several deep breaths. The effects of nitrous oxide wear off soon after the mask is removed. You can drive home!
When would I use Nitronox?
Nitronox can be used for any office visit or procedure that may cause you anxiety or discomfort.

$100 per session.
