Michael Cashman, MD

Dr. Cashman is a seasoned and accomplished physician, boasting a rich history of contributions in healthcare, research, and education. Holding an MD degree from the esteemed George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as a Master of Healthcare Administration from the same institution, his academic credentials are outstanding. Dr. Cashman further honed his expertise through a cutaneous oncology (melanoma) fellowship and dermatology residency at MedStar Washington on the East Coast, complemented by a Master of Public Health earned from the University of Washington Seattle on the West Coast. He rounded out his training with an additional fellowship in occupational and environmental medicine at UW-Seattle’s Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences.

In his role as a board-certified physician, Dr. Cashman’s interests span a wide spectrum of academic pursuits. Notably, he is deeply engaged in exploring the convergence of dermatology and environmental medicine, specializing in the intriguing domain of occupational dermatitis at Clinic Dermatology.

Beyond his clinical commitments, Dr. Cashman has been an active participant in numerous research endeavors, securing funding and training grants from renowned institutions such as the Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety Education and Research Center. He has also served on influential committees, including the University of Washington Medicine Quality and Safety Committee and the Graduate Curriculum and Academic Policy Committee within the University of Washington School of Public Health Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences.
